Sarah Wayne Callies
American actress Sarah Wayne Callies was born on June 1, 1977. Her credits include Sara Tancredi on Fox's Prison Break as well as Lori Grimes on AMC's The Walking Dead. She also appeared on the USA Network's Colony as Katie Bowman and Robin Perry on the NBC show Council of Dads. She also played film roles in Whisper (2007) and Black Gold (2011) and The Show (2017).
Early life and education
Callies was born in La Grange (Illinois) as the daughter of Valerie Wayne Callies and David E. Callies. They were respectively English as well as Law Professors at the University of Hawaii Manoa.
Callies aged of one, relocated at the age of one, to Honolulu together with her family. Callies was a regular participant in school productions at Punahou School, where she was interested in performing throughout her early years. Callies completed high school and enrolled in Dartmouth College in 1999 to obtain a bachelor's degree in drama , with a minor in women's studies. She also was awarded an honorary senior fellowship in Indigenous theology.
